    The present project was conducted in the Universidad Tecnica de Manabi, Faculty of Health Sciences in the clinical-epidemiology research area, during the period from May to November of 2010, in wich involved a group of students from third semester of Medicine Career as well as teachers, and the authors of this project. In the implementation of this community development project was taken as a primary to strengthen epidemiological clinical research with a parasitological laboratory of Toxoplasmosis for the Medical Career of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Universidad Técnica de Manabí during the period from May to November 2010 since it requires scientific equipment and reagents for the practice. The justification of this project is because our country has a high incidence of toxoplasmosis, and despite this fact there has been little research about it. Training workshops on Parasitology and diagnose methods were provided to teachers and students in third semester of Medical School. As conclusions the strengthened of clinical-epidemiology research area in Parasitology with equipments and reagents benefits teachers and students of the Medical School.
