ItemAnalisis de la resistencia del hormigon simple en el ambiente marino aplicado en la ciudad de bahia de caraquez – manabi – ecuador(Universidad Técnica de Manabí, 2016) SORNOZA PICO, BRYAN BRANDO ; MOREIRA ZAMBRANO, DARLIN XAVIERConcrete has been characterized as being very useful within civil constructions due to its diverse uses. Over time, it has become an indispensable material thanks to its excellent contribution to structures, providing security, confidence and being reliable. great contribution to the development of great works that have made it possible to solve problems in different countries around the world. The main objective of this titration work is to analyze the resistance behavior of concrete once submerged in seawater, using a concrete design whose resistance is 350 kg/cm2, which will serve to carry out a comparative analysis with the final designs of the Los Caras bridge located in the city of Bahía de Caráquez. The tests carried out in the laboratory will determine the influence of the estuary water on the physical and mechanical characteristics of the concrete, its method of analysis being the compression test of the concrete, which is responsible for evaluating the resistance obtained by the witnesses. Once they come into contact with the water of the estuary, it should be noted that the chemical analysis of the water to which the concrete cylinders are subjected was carried out, which can have an aggressive effect that compromises the development of their initial resistance. For the design of the cylinders, materials from the Megarok quarry were used, which is located in the Picoazá Parish belonging to the city of Portoviejo, materials that were analyzed and tested thoroughly in the soil laboratory of the same company, using implements that provide excellent technology, which allows obtaining reliable values at the time of taking the data, which are of utmost importance for carrying out the design of the concrete to be analyzed.
