This community service was held in the premises of the Faculty of Zootechnical
Science extension Chone , was held in the months of December 2013 to February
2014 , aiming to improve the process control biosecurity of cattle production in the
Faculty , , through training in health and welfare to improve the professional profile
of the race Zootécnica Engineering measures the following techniques are used :
Matrix involved, tree problems , tree objectives , Tree of alternatives, logical
framework matrix , using as tools the survey was aimed at students career Zootécnica
Engineering and nearby farmers in the area , in which it was identified that there are
several problems with the methods used in the Faculty and some farmers to give
good biosecurity to cattle . The housing system of cattle thus providing safety and
animal welfare was improved. Specific objectives were met , being a successful
training given to students and farmers which from now on will be able to apply what
they learned .
