    The Central Library of the Technical University of Manabi community work was developed: "Diagnosis, Analysis and Implementation of the updated and necessary literature for the core subjects of civil engineering career on the faculty of mathematical, physical and chemical of the technical University of Manabi", in order to recognize the bibliographic material lying in the central library and to classify texts needed to be implemented, based on the PEA to purchase and provide the books needed to meet student demand. The purpose of this project is based on resolving the quantitative deficit of scientific texts that serve as useful and indispensable for multitasking resource. The selection of texts was implemented based on the following: the amount based on the number of students enrolled in the basic subjects of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry; the most updated editions corresponding to not less than five years from the current date; high quality scientific content. The economic contribution to the acquisition was fostered by a student scholarship through the Technical University of Manabí.
