    Evaluación de láminas de riego y aplicación de auxina en la producción de limón sutil [Citrus aurantifolia (Christm.) Swingle]

    One of the strategies of the lemon producer is the water deficit, a strategy that is empirically carried out to support production, however, the combination with the use of growth phytoregulators, among which the use of auxins stands out, could enhance the productivity of this crop. The present investigation consisted of evaluating the incidence of different irrigation layers and the application of auxins in the production of subtle lemon, for which an essay was carried out in a commercial farm known as "La Herradura" located Vía a la Unión, in the parish Ayacucho, Manabí province. A randomized block design was used with irrigation of subdivided plots made up of three blocks and three factors under study (irrigation sheet, auxin levels and application season). Variables of water parameters such as: water potential and stomatal conductance were determined; yield variables (fruit growth, fruit weight, equatorial and polar diameter); internal quality variables of the fruit (pulp weight, peel weight, juice content, number of seeds and soluble solids content "brix degrees"). From the results obtained, it was possible to observe that the highest fruit yields in kg/tree were reached with applications of 100 ppm of auxin, in relation to applications of 300 ppm of auxin, with water volumes of 46,55 m3h-1 corresponding to layer 2. Regarding the effect of the irrigation layer, with a volume of water of 51,72 m3h-1 and application of auxins in doses of 100 ppm, there were significant effects with respect to the variables in study. Finally, the effect of the irrigation sheets significantly influenced the growth of the subtle lemon fruit, without the combination of auxins
